Weve been working extremely hard behind the scenes at Live & Work Green to bring you some great products and services. Some of the best things in the world take a long time; a tree to grow, a home-cooked meal to be prepared, a baby to be born. This is our baby and we are putting all the love and effort we can into it because we are very proud parents.

This Labor Day weekend we wish you all the very best and want you to have a safe and sustainable weekend. There are many ways to enjoy this holiday and you can have fun without damaging the environment.

• Take a bike ride
• Visit a thrift store
• Check out a new restaurant in your neighborhood within walking distance
• Recycle old clothes in good condition at your favorite charity
• Swap out all those remaining incandescent bulbs with EnergyStar CFL or LED lights
• Visit a local park or beach
