Whether it’s your first time, or you’re an old friend, this weekend’s Thread shouldn’t be missed. With it’s focus on local and emerging designers, unique art installations, and dj’s mixing in chill downtempo beats, Live & Work Green is most excited about this year’s addition of it’s dedicated Eco section.
This new section at Thread focuses exclusively on eco-fashion and sustainability. This year they are introducing eco-friendly lines for men, women and kids and covering everything from beauty, home decor, gifts and more! Check out a list of Thread’s Eco Designers.

As my favorite music artist Ben Harper said, “A thousand small compromises equal a sacrifice.”
A few minor changes in your daily routine can make a big impact. I try to do this every day by taking my own coffee mug to Starbucks and even get a $0.10 discount. I look for ways to reduce the amount of waste I create, such as tossing the sandwich from the local deli in my purse versus taking their plastic bag.
